Two friends experienced a miraculous moment at Trigg Beach in Perth, Australia, when they found their car keys shortly after they had been swept away by a wave. Alisha Kelly and her girlfriend Lauren Thompson were enjoying their time at the beach when a large wave engulfed their belongings, including their phones and keys.
Alisha successfully retrieved their phones before they could be lost to the ocean but had resigned herself to the idea that the car keys were gone for good. About ten minutes later, while they were reflecting on the incident, Lauren spotted the keys floating back towards them on the sand, having been brought back by another wave.
Overjoyed, they quickly realized that the keys were still functional despite their unexpected swim in the ocean. Alisha expressed their relief and gratitude, stating, “We felt so lucky and grateful! What was even more amazing is that they worked perfectly despite the swim… We genuinely were just so lucky.”
